"We have no power to face this vast army. We don't know what to do, but our eyes are on you." - 2 Chronicles 20:12
Reflection
King Jehoshaphat faced an impossible situation—three armies advancing against his kingdom. The odds were stacked against him, and he had no clear strategy for victory. Yet in his moment of greatest uncertainty, he made the most powerful declaration a leader can make: "We don't know what to do, but our eyes are on you."
This ancient prayer resonates deeply in our modern lives. Whether facing health crises, financial pressures, or personal anxieties, we all encounter moments when we simply don't know what to do. The challenges we face today may look different from ancient armies, but they're just as overwhelming. Like Jehoshaphat, we're called to respond with humility rather than false confidence.
Admitting "I don't know" isn't weakness—it's the doorway to divine strength. When we acknowledge our limitations, we create space for God's unlimited power. Jehoshaphat didn't pretend to have all the answers. He didn't rely solely on military strategy or human wisdom. Instead, he turned his face toward God and called his people to do the same. This posture of humble dependence became the foundation for miraculous deliverance.

Prayer
Dear God, I confess that I don't have all the answers. Help me to stop pretending I do. In this moment of uncertainty, I choose to fix my eyes on You, trusting that You see what I cannot see and know what I do not know. Amen.
