Reflection
The Holy Spirit speaks. He whispers. He nudges. He prompts. He places longings and convictions in the hearts of those who are abiding. But here is what the preacher says with sober urgency: "When you push away the whisper of the Holy Spirit again and again, eventually God will use someone else, and you might find yourself wondering if you know what the voice of God sounds like at all."
This is not meant to produce fear but alertness. The Spirit's invitations are not infinitely patient in their timing — not because God stops loving us, but because opportunities have seasons. The door may be open today that will not be open next year. The person who needs to hear a word of grace may not be in your life six months from now. The calling may be clearest now and murkier later if you keep refusing to respond..
When the window opens, take it. Don't overanalyze it into paralysis. Don't wait until all the conditions are perfect. Step through in faith.

Is there a window of opportunity — a prompting of the Spirit — that you have been ignoring or deferring that needs your attention today?
Action Step
Identify one thing you sense the Spirit has been nudging you toward. Write it down and share it with one trusted person today as a step of accountability.
Prayer
Lord, sharpen my hearing. I don't want to miss the promptings of Your Spirit because I was too distracted or too afraid to respond. When You open a door, give me the courage to walk through it — trusting that You are on the other side. Amen.
