“If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.” – Psalm 66:18
Reflection
One reason prayers lose power is because of unconfessed sin. God’s grace is unlimited, but He desires a clean heart. George Müller believed in the importance of forsaking sin—he knew it blocked fellowship with God.
God doesn’t expect perfection, but He calls us to repentance. Confession brings healing, humility, and restored closeness with the Lord. A pure heart is a powerful platform for prayer.
Prayer
God, search me and know my heart. Reveal anything in me that’s not pleasing to You. Cleanse me, and help me walk in holiness by Your Spirit. Amen.

Today's Challenge
Ask God to reveal any hidden or lingering sin. Don’t excuse it—confess it.
Action Steps:
- Read Psalm 51 slowly and make it your own prayer.
- Confess and turn from anything the Spirit highlights.
- If needed, seek accountability and prayer with a trusted believer.
