Reflection
The Romans crucified an estimated 10,000 people during the era of Jesus's life. Crucifixion was designed not only to kill the body but to annihilate a person's reputation, their memory, their very existence. Families disowned the crucified. History forgot them. Of those thousands of people, we know the name of only one. And the reason we know His name is because He did not stay dead.
This is the hinge of history. This is the fact on which all Christian faith rests — and it is also the foundation of fearless prayer. Jesus rose. Not metaphorically. Not spiritually only. He rose bodily, historically, verifiably — to the point that the empty tomb was never disputed, only explained away. He rose just as He said He would.
And because He rose, every promise He ever made carries the full weight of His resurrection. He promised to never leave you. He promised that nothing could separate you from God's love. He promised that He was preparing a place for you. These are not beautiful ideas — they are the words of a man who defeated death.
When you pray, you are praying to the only One in history who walked out of His own grave. That is who holds your fears. That is who hears your cries. Let that truth anchor your prayer life in something unshakable.

Risen Savior,
You are not a myth or a symbol. You are alive. You walked out of that tomb, and You are the same today. Let that truth make me bold in prayer, confident that You hear me and that You are able.
