"For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." — Romans 10:13 NIV
Reflection
The gospel is the greatest invitation ever given because it is for everyone. No background, failure, ethnicity, status, or past sin can place someone beyond the reach of God’s grace.
Paul emphasized this truth repeatedly because the early church wrestled with division and prejudice. Yet the gospel breaks barriers. Jesus came for the outsider, the broken, the overlooked, and the lost.
A singular spiritual focus changes how you see people. Instead of categorizing others by appearance, politics, success, or mistakes, you begin seeing them through the eyes of Christ. Every person becomes someone deeply loved by God.
Sometimes believers unintentionally create barriers where Jesus created open doors. We may assume certain people are too far gone, too resistant, or too different. But the gospel was never meant for a select few. It is God’s invitation to the world.
This truth also applies personally. Some people struggle to believe God’s grace could truly apply to them. Shame whispers that they are disqualified. But Jesus welcomes anyone who comes to Him in faith.
Your singular focus on Christ should produce compassion for others. When you realize how much grace you have received, it becomes impossible to withhold grace from those around you.

Is there anyone you have struggled to believe could truly experience God’s grace?
Action Step
Pray today for someone who needs Jesus and ask God to give you greater compassion for them.

Lord, thank You that Your grace reaches every person. Help me see others through Your eyes and carry Your love to those who need hope. Amen.
