Reflection
William Tandy received his sight at age 70 after a lifetime of blindness. He was born blind and for seven decades he had no sight at all, but then a new, marvelous medical innovation gave him sight. What surprised him most? The way autumn leaves dance and drift on their own unique journey to the ground, each following God's design. He realized that though he was in the same place, seeing made it feel like an entirely different world.
This is exactly what happens when Christ's light enters our lives. We might be in the same physical location, facing the same circumstances, but suddenly everything looks different. The colorless and drab transforms into something full of wonder. What once seemed like mere obligation becomes opportunity. The disappointments don't disappear, but we see beyond them to God's greater purposes.
Many people struggle with doubts about Jesus. Can He really be who He claims? Will following Him truly satisfy? Others feel trapped by their circumstances, unable to imagine life different from their current disappointments. But when His light shines, a whole new world opens up right where you are.

What area of your life feels colorless or stuck right now? How might seeing it through God's light change your perspective?
Action Step
Take a walk today and intentionally notice small details you usually overlook—how light falls through trees, patterns in nature, expressions on faces. Practice seeing with fresh eyes.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, You are the light of the world. Open my eyes to see life as You see it. Help me experience the wonder of Your presence right where I am. Amen.
