Reflection
Persistent prayer doesn’t always change circumstances immediately, but it always changes us. The apostle Paul understood that the peace of God isn’t the absence of problems—it’s the presence of Christ in the midst of them. Like George Müller, who prayed until God shifted the wind and softened hearts, we too are called to persevere in faith.
God may answer “not yet” or “in a different way,” but He never ignores the prayers of His children. Each prayer sown in faith builds spiritual endurance. Over time, prayer reshapes your heart to align with God’s will rather than your own desires.
To persist in prayer is to declare that God’s timing is perfect and His plans are good. Peace comes not from control but from surrender. When you keep showing up in prayer, heaven takes notice—and God’s peace will guard your heart like a fortress.
