Prayer for The Paradox of Saving and Losing Life

A companion prayer to The Paradox of Saving and Losing Life Daily Devotion.

"For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it." Luke 9:24 (NIV)

Father, help me to trust You with my life completely. I surrender my need to control every outcome and choose to live for Your purposes rather than my own comfort. Show me what it means to lose my life for Jesus' sake so that I might truly find it. Give me courage to follow where You lead. Amen.
