Prayer for The First Words After the Greatest Event

A companion prayer to the The First Words After the Greatest Event Daily Devotion.

"Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said." — Matthew 28:5-6”.

Lord, like those two women, I come to You carrying fear. Speak Your first words to my heart today. Remind me that You are already ahead of me, that the stone has been rolled away, and that I do not have to be afraid. Amen.
