Prayer for “Suffering Is Not the End”

A companion prayer to the Suffering Is Not the End Daily Devotion.

Scripture of the Day

“We rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope.” — Romans 5:3-4

Prayer

Lord, we don't ask for suffering -- but when it comes, use it. Produce in us endurance, character, and a hope that does not disappoint. Amen.
