Prayer for Stay Close to the Master

A companion prayer to the Stay Close to the Master Daily Devotion.

"No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money." - Matthew 6:24 (NIV)

Jesus, I choose You as my Master today. Forgive me for the times I've served money, comfort, or my own desires instead of You. Draw me close to Your heart. Help me hear Your voice clearly as I make decisions about resources. Give me a singleness of purpose like Joseph had. I want to do nothing on my own, but only what You're doing. Be my delight, Lord, and let everything else fall into its proper place. Amen.
