Prayer for Seeing the Full Rainbow

A companion prayer to the Seeing the Full Rainbow Daily Devotion.

"The LORD foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples. But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations." - Psalm 33:10-11

Father, help me see my circumstances from Your perspective rather than my limited viewpoint. When I'm confused by painful experiences or disappointed by unfulfilled plans, remind me that Your purposes are greater than my understanding. Give me faith to trust Your sovereignty even when I can't see the full picture. Amen.
