"There is a time for everything... a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance." -- Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4 (NIV)

Prayer

Lord, I bring you what I have been carrying in silence. I name the grief I have not allowed myself to feel, the loss I have moved past too quickly, the ways I have fallen short of who you made me to be. I trust that you are not afraid of my tears. You wept. You know. Meet me here in the honest place, and hold me until the weeping turns, in your time, to something I cannot manufacture on my own. Amen.
