Prayer for He Came Down the Mountain

A companion prayer to the He Came Down the Mountain Daily Devotion.

"As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus instructed them..." - Matthew 17:9

Lord Jesus, thank you that you did not stay on the mountaintop. You came down — into flesh, into struggle, into my ordinary life. Meet me where I am today. I don't need to climb to you; help me to trust that you have already come to me. Amen.
