Prayer

Jesus, you entered our poverty so that we might share in your abundance. Open my hands where I have been holding tightly. Open my eyes to the person near me who needs something I can give. Let my own experience of your grace make me generous rather than self-protective. Let the grief you have healed in me become a bridge to someone else's healing. Amen.
