Prayer for God’s Nearness to the Broken

A companion prayer to the God's Nearness to the Broken Daily Devotion.

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted. He saves those whose spirits have been crushed." - Psalm 34:18 (NRSV)

Father, thank You that You don't run from my brokenness but draw near to it. When my spirit feels crushed, remind me that You are closest to me in these moments. Save me from despair and rescue me from the weight of my circumstances. Help me rest in Your nearness and find comfort in Your presence. Amen.
