Prayer for From Comfort to Comforter

A companion prayer to the From Comfort to Comforter Daily Devotion.

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." - 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV)

God of all comfort, thank You for the ways You've comforted me in my troubles. Help me not to hoard Your comfort but to share it generously with others who are hurting. Open my eyes to see the broken hearts around me and give me wisdom to offer the same comfort I've received from You. Use my pain to bring healing to others. Amen.
