A companion prayer to the Dropping Your Troubles in His Hands Daily Devotion.

"Come to me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Matthew 11:28-30

Jesus, You've promised rest to the weary, but I keep picking up the burdens You've taken from me. Teach me the discipline of persistent release. Help me return to You throughout this day, dropping my troubles in Your capable hands. Give me rest. Amen.
