Prayer for Doing God’s Word

A companion prayer to the Doing God's Word Daily Devotion.

"Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says." (James 1:22, NIV)

Lord Jesus, forgive me for the times I've heard Your Word but failed to obey it. Thank You for the clear guidance and wisdom You provide in Scripture. Give me courage to put Your teachings into practice, even when it's difficult or uncomfortable. Help me become a doer of the Word and not just a hearer. Transform my life through obedience to Your truth. Amen.
