"For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened." — Luke 11:10 (NIV)
Reflection
Think about the conversations that have most shaped your life.
When I was a college student, a simple ping pong game and a chat with a campus minister redirected my life.
George Mueller himself—who would go on to house over ten thousand orphans by faith—was transformed not by a brilliant argument, but by an act of humble service and a simple invitation to read the Gospel of John.
In neither case did the person set out to change a life. They were simply present, available, and authentic.
God rarely works through grand performances. He works through ordinary people who show up and stay open.
You are already positioned in relationships and places that hold divine potential. The question is not whether God can use you, but whether you are willing to be used.
Action Step
Take five minutes today to write down two or three conversations from your own life that changed your direction or perspective. Reflect on who God placed in your path at just the right time. Then consider: who might God be placing in your path right now? Write that person's name down as a reminder to pray for them this week.
Prayer
Lord, open my eyes to the divine appointments already woven into my daily life. Help me see the people around me not as interruptions, but as opportunities. Give me the courage to show up, to stay present, and to trust that you can work through even the simplest conversation. Use my ordinary moments for your extraordinary purposes. Amen.
