Nothing Too Hard

"I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?" — Jeremiah 32:27, NIV

Reflection

Jehovah Rapha heals what no doctor can cure, mends what no counselor can fix, and restores what no human effort can recover.

The God who parted the Red Sea for enslaved people, who opened the womb of a ninety-year-old woman, who rolled away a stone on Easter morning — this is the God who stands before your greatest impossibility and asks the same question: Is this too hard for Me?

Perhaps your diagnosis has been declared terminal. Perhaps the doctor has said there is nothing more to be done. Perhaps the relationship has been declared over, the addiction too deep, the wound too old.

But none of those declarations are the final word. Jehovah Rapha holds the final word — and He has never backed away from a hopeless situation. He bought a field in a besieged city. He can act in your besieged life.

Today's Takeaway: The God of all mankind specializes in the impossible.

Reflection Question

What situation in your life have you quietly stopped bringing to God because it has started to feel too far gone — and are you willing to lay it before Him one more time today?

Action Step

Write down the one thing in your life that feels most impossible right now. Then write Jeremiah 32:27 next to it. Read it aloud over your situation three times today, and each time you do, choose to believe — even if just slightly — that this God who spoke those words is still the same God today.

Prayer

Almighty God — Jehovah Rapha, the God of all mankind — I confess that there are places in my life where I have given up hope because I have been looking at the problem instead of at You. Forgive me for limiting You. I bring the thing I think is too hard and I lay it at Your feet. You have never lost a case. You have never failed a child who trusted You. So I trust You now. Do what only You can do. Amen.

See here to share just this Prayer for Nothing Too Hard.
