Reflection

The Great Commission isn't just about going—it's about going to all nations. Not just people who look like us, think like us, or share our cultural background. All nations. Every tribe, tongue, and people group. 

This mandate requires collaboration because we cannot effectively reach all nations if we remain isolated within our comfort zones.

When our churches reflect only one race, one socioeconomic class, or one cultural expression, we're missing the fullness of Christ's vision. If we're not crossing racial lines, learning from other ethnicities, and building relationships with the global body of Christ, we risk contributing to the very polarization that's tearing our world apart.

True discipleship in the 21st century means recognizing that believers in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and beyond aren't just mission recipients—they're our teachers, partners, and co-laborers. When we sit at the feet of our brothers and sisters from different cultures, we discover richness in prayer, depth in preaching, and passion in worship that can transform our own faith.

To make disciples of all nations, we must first learn to serve together, love together, worship together, and go together.

How diverse are your spiritual relationships? What voices and perspectives are missing from your spiritual community?

Action Step

This week, intentionally connect with a believer from a different cultural or ethnic background. Listen to their story and learn from their faith journey.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, You died for every nation, tribe, and tongue. Forgive me for staying comfortable within my own cultural bubble. Give me a heart for all nations and help me build authentic relationships across cultural lines. Show me how to learn from and serve alongside believers who are different from me. Amen.
