Reflection
Paul accomplished extraordinary things for God, yet his greatest desire was remarkably simple: to know Christ. More than influence, ministry success, or recognition, Paul longed for deeper intimacy with Jesus.
A singular spiritual focus begins with relationship, not performance.
It is possible to become busy with spiritual activity while neglecting closeness with God. We can attend church, serve faithfully, and maintain religious habits while our hearts slowly drift from genuine intimacy with Christ.
But Christianity was never meant to be reduced to routine. Jesus invites you into daily fellowship with Him.
Knowing Christ means walking with Him through every part of life. It means learning His character through Scripture, listening for His voice in prayer, and recognizing His presence in ordinary moments. The more time you spend with Jesus, the more your heart begins to reflect His.
Paul also wanted to know "the power of His resurrection." Resurrection power is not just future hope—it is present transformation. Christ gives strength where there was weakness, hope where there was despair, and life where there was spiritual emptiness.
The deepest fulfillment in life will never come from accomplishments or possessions. It comes from knowing Jesus personally and walking closely with Him each day.

Action Step
Set aside intentional time today to read Scripture slowly and simply enjoy God’s presence without rushing.
Prayer
Jesus, I want to know You more deeply. Draw my heart closer to You and teach me to value Your presence above everything else. Amen.
