Reflection
At the center of a singular spiritual focus is one defining declaration: Jesus is Lord.
Those three words change everything.
To declare Jesus as Lord means surrendering every area of life to His authority. It means He is not simply part of your life—He is the center of it. Your plans, relationships, priorities, ambitions, and future all belong to Him.
Paul understood this deeply. Every goal and desire was secondary to Christ. His life was no longer driven by personal success or comfort. He wanted Jesus to be glorified above all else.
Many people want Jesus as Savior but resist Him as Lord. They want forgiveness without surrender. But true faith transforms the entire direction of a person’s life.
When Jesus becomes Lord, your identity changes. Your purpose changes. Your focus changes.
You no longer live merely for temporary achievements. You begin living for eternal impact. Even ordinary moments become opportunities to glorify God.
The beauty of surrender is that Jesus always leads toward life, freedom, joy, and peace. His lordship is not oppressive—it is life-giving. The more fully you trust Him, the more clearly you experience His presence and purpose.
A singular spiritual focus begins and ends here: Jesus is Lord.
