Reflection
Dependence deepens in difficulty. Trials strip away the illusion of control and remind us who sustains us. Even our pain becomes a place where God meets us — not with quick fixes, but with real presence.
In grief, in illness, in confusion — God is near. The kingdom belongs to those who know they need Him. Dependence in hard times isn’t resignation. It’s a refuge.
Prayer
God, You are close to the brokenhearted. Be near to me in the places that hurt. Let my weakness draw me closer to Your heart. Amen.
