Reflection
Our own wisdom feels reliable — until it isn’t. We’ve all made decisions that seemed right but led to regret. God's wisdom, by contrast, is pure, peace-loving, and trustworthy. True dependence means choosing His counsel over our instincts.
Jesus said, “Abide in me.” That’s daily wisdom, not just crisis management. The more we’re rooted in His Word, the more we recognize His voice over the noise of culture or emotion.
Prayer
God, I don’t want to lean on my own understanding today. Guide me in Your wisdom. Help me pause and ask, “What do You say?” rather than rushing to conclusions. Amen.
